Basketball v Bottesford 30th November 2023

The basketball teams have played eight matches each this season, with the Greyhounds unbeaten so far.

Last night we played Bottesford CE Primary for the second time this season.  Having worked hard on our defensive play and marking, we were really pleased to see Bottesford unable to score against the Bandits in the first and third quarters. 

The Greyhounds prevented any score from the Bottesford team in the first half however, Bottesford found a renewed energy in the second half and scored most of their points in the third quarter.

There were so many great individual performances that could be mentioned but most noteworthy were Kian Shepard’s excellent defending and Aiden Compton’s amazing shooting – There was a point where we thought he just couldn’t miss!
