Year 4 really enjoyed their trip to Lincoln Castle learning all about the Romans and their settlement at Lindum Colonia (Lincoln). The children completed an archaeological dig, handled Roman artefacts, some of which were over 2000 years old, and learned about life in the Roman army along with how they defended themselves! They were excellent at the "tortoise" formation!
